ROLE SUMMARY:

We are looking for a new addition to our fantastic Admissions head office team.
The International Support Coordinator will work with the Head of International Student Recruitment (APAC) to maintain the agent and parent relationships to maximise student retention and provide exceptional student services. This position is based in Mount Eden, Auckland and is fixed term, full-time and due to commence December 2025 and finish January 2027.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Working with the ACG Schools Head of International Student Recruitment (APAC) to maintain agent relationships
•Complete accurate assessment of applications and provide supporting documents to state the admissions outcom
•Assisting the International Admissions & Operations Manager to respond to enquiries and agent requests in a timely manne
•Overseeing all administration functions with the international team including managing all CRMs and systems, covering both admissions, student support and homestay functions
•Working directly with students and parents to help assist using ACG portals and system
•To have the required skills to arrange the roster of staff who manage the afterhours mobile for emergency assistanc
•Fluency in both Mandarin and English is beneficial
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
•3+ years of experience in international student support
•Flexible mindset with the ability to successfully manage ambiguity
•Experience in advising students on academic programmes, career development, personal growth and
referral to professionals as needed.
•A comprehensive understanding of the New Zealand education system.
•Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
•An understanding of cultural and life challenges faced by students.
•Attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task.
•The ability to communicate information clearly in written and oral formats.
