ROLE SUMMARY:
ACG Penguins is spacious and scenic Early Learning Centre located at the heart of the Howick community. The team is forward-focused, innovative and passionate about delivering quality education and care. Our students are at the heart of everything we do! Our school offers a dedicated school readiness programme for a confident, smooth transition to primary school.
We are looking for a qualified ECE teacher who is passionate in supporting young children in their learning and development. You should be confident in Te Whariki curriculum making links to this document in your assessment. This position is a parental leave cover and is due to commence February 2026 and will finish in January 2027, full-time hours apply to this position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Teach early childhood learning, ensuring you create an engaging learning environment.

- Play based learning environment with a focus on transition to school.
- Participate in wider school activities.
- Ensure children's welfare and safety in every moment.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute fresh ideas.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- NZ Teacher registration with supporting teaching qualifications (BA and/or MBA).
