ROLE SUMMARY:

ACG Parnell College, part of ACG Schools, is an independent, coeducational school located in central Auckland. We prepare our students for a lifetime of learning, equipping them with the academic, sporting, and cultural skills they need to become balanced and independent global citizens. We are looking for a person to join the support staff team at our school situated in central Parnell. Our ideal candidate is someone who likes being around children, is flexible and is aware of health and safety needs.

This vacancy is a permanent role in our small and supportive property team. We are looking at a June 2025 start and would see the person starting at 8am each day working at one of our sites in the Parnell/ Newmarket area. We are keen on a person who likes to interact with a variety of people, is patient with children, and enjoys doing set tasks at a set time each day. Being friendly, reliable and responsible are essential qualities of our successful candidate.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assembly setup
Actively assist in Evacuations & Fire drills
Assist Events Set-up – Open days/Exams/Displays/Special events
Log, file, and email lost Property Items
Milk Delivery to Staffrooms – Deliver Newspapers = Titoki & George St
Call Wet/Dry breaks & manage signs.
Rubbish Bins in & out of Gym before and after wet breaks - Assist mop-up.
Organise 5 x Copy Stations in Titoki St
Check NZ Flag at George St – once a week
Complete and Maintain MASTER CHECK-SHEETS
Walkthrough - Titoki St Floors
Escalator Operation & Check
Road Crossing/Safety Patrol

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

Previous experience in a similar role
Well organised with ability to meet deadlines and juggle multiple tasks
