We are looking for a new addition to our fantastic Admissions head office team.
The International Admissions & Operations Manager will work with the Head of International Student Recruitment (APAC) to establish and develop agent and parent relationships too maximise student enrolment and profit goals across the ACG portfolio. This position is permanent, full-time and due to commence July 2025.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Accountable for the leadership, planning and overall management of a wide range of administrativefunctions which enable students access to ACG Schools.
•Contribute to ACG’s strategic objectives by providing analysis and strategic advice on admissions andrecruitment activities, arising issues, enrolment and conversion trends and potential opportunities.
•Assist the ACG Schools Head of International Student Recruitment (APAC) by leading and initiativesaimed at improving international admissions services, systems and processes
•Responsible for all aspects of the ACG Schools specific database maintenance and liaison with therelevant stakeholders. Ensuring that all financial and administrative information is recordedaccurately and amended/altered when necessary
•Develop and maintain ongoing lines of communication and relationship management with allrelevant stakeholders, internal and external to the ACG Schools
•Maintaining a high level of customer service and knowledge to assist in potential conversion ofstudent enquiries as well as providing administrative support to staff when requested
•Manage the billing and debtor list for internationals across ACG Schools
•Representing ACG Schools in recruitment efforts arranged by key partners
•To be responsible for the printing and distribution of the Holiday Plan Forms, for their collection,recording in system and placing the forms in the student files
•Manage the U18 accommodation check process, ensuring regular checks and reporting any issues
•To maintain a register of host families that meet the schools needs
•To maintain a digital computer file system of homestay profiles, including images and detailedinformation of each family and to ensure that the information is current and accurate at all times
•To place students with families matching the requirements of the students within stipulateddeadlines
•To have the required skills to arrange the roster of staff who manage the afterhours mobile foremergency assistance
•Fluency in both Mandarin and English is essential
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
• 5+ years of experience in international admissions
• Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
• Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills to provide insights on admissions, recruitment trends, and process improvements.
• High attention to detail, especially in managing student placements, accommodation arrangements, and billing processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Strong relationship management skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders effectively.
• Ability to coordinate and implement system changes and improvements related to international student admissions.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to represent ACG Schools in recruitment efforts and stakeholder meetings.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including managing after-hours emergency assistance rosters.
• Willingness to travel between China and New Zealand as the role is split across both locations.
• Fluency in both Mandarin and English (spoken and written) is essential.
• Experience studying at a high school in New Zealand or Australia is beneficial
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
