The Modern Montessori School is a CIS-accredited IB Continuum World School. We combine the proven Montessori methodology in Kindergarten with the internationally respected IB Programme, offering a seamless and world-class educational journey.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Providing a Professional Front-of-House Service: Welcome students, parents, visitors, and staff in a warm and professional manner, ensuring a positive first impression of the school and directing enquiries appropriately.
- Managing Calls and Enquiries: Answer and manage incoming telephone calls, emails, and general enquiries efficiently and professionally, providing accurate information and directing requests to the appropriate members of staff.
- Supporting Daily Reception Operations: Manage day-to-day reception duties, including visitor registration, appointments, correspondence, deliveries, and maintaining accurate records, ensuring the reception area operates smoothly and efficiently.
- Supporting Student and Parent Services: Provide assistance to students and parents with general enquiries and requests, ensuring they receive timely and appropriate support while maintaining a welcoming and helpful approach.
- Collaborating with Staff: Work closely with academic and administrative teams, providing reception and administrative support and ensuring effective communication and coordination across the school.
- Maintaining Confidentiality and Safeguarding: Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism and follow the school's safeguarding, security, data protection, and visitor management procedures at all times.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- A university degree or relevant qualification.
- Previous experience in a receptionist, front desk, customer service, or administrative role, preferably within a school or educational environment.
- Possess a very good command of the English and Arabic languages, both written and spoken.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a professional, welcoming, and helpful approach when dealing with students, parents, visitors, and staff.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to handle enquiries and requests efficiently and professionally.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage a varied workload, prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and work well under pressure.
- Excellent telephone and email communication skills, with the ability to respond to and direct enquiries appropriately.
- Good computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and other relevant administrative systems.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across academic and administrative departments while also working effectively and independently.
- A strong commitment to safeguarding, confidentiality, and maintaining high professional standards.
- Energy, enthusiasm, and a positive, flexible, and resourceful approach to working in a dynamic school environment.
