ROLE SUMMARY:
King’s College School Alicante is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Mathematics Teacher to deliver high-quality teaching across KS3–A Level, with the ability to teach IBDP Mathematics an advantage. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Teach Mathematics across KS3–A Level, with the ability to contribute to IBDP Mathematics.

Support learning in the middle and senior school as part of a collaborative and supportive department.

Monitor and assess student progress to ensure strong academic outcomes.

Adapt teaching strategies to support students for whom English may be an additional language.

Contribute to curriculum development, enrichment activities and the wider life of the school.

Engage in continuous professional development and reflective practice.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

Successful experience teaching Mathematics to A Level and/or IBDP, with evidence of excellent student progress.

A creative, student-centred approach rooted in Quality First Teaching.

Fluency in English with strong spoken, written and technical communication skills.

A commitment to pastoral care and to supporting the holistic development of every student.

A collaborative, positive attitude and willingness to take part in extracurricular and whole-school initiatives.

Flexibility to teach younger year groups when required.
