ROLE SUMMARY:

King’s College, The British School of Alicante is seeking a Key Stage 2 Primary Teacher to join its team on a full-time basis for the 2026/27 academic year. This is a British curriculum school operating under BSO inspection standards, delivering high-quality British-style education in an international setting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Teach KS2 within the British National Curriculum framework
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all learners
Assess, track and report pupil progress in line with UK assessment standards
Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
Contribute to wider school life, extracurricular activities and pastoral care
Work collaboratively within a high-performing primary team

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent UK-recognised teaching qualification
Proven experience teaching within the UK National Curriculum (KS2 essential)
Strong classroom management and pupil engagement skills
Excellent English language proficiency (native or near-native level)
Experience in British or international schools is highly desirable
Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative teaching team
