ROLE SUMMARY:
King's College, The British School of Alicante, one of the most sought after British schools in Spain, is seeking to appoint an inspiring, committed, and passionate professional to join our Key Stage One team from August 2025.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in line with the English National Curriculum for Key Stage One.

Plan for, assess, and differentiate lessons to meet the needs of mixed-attainment learners, including EAL pupils.

Create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment where children feel valued and motivated.

Contribute actively to the wider life of the College, including enrichment and extra-curricular activities.

Maintain high standards of professionalism and pupil care in all areas of school life.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

Qualified Teacher Status (or equivalent).

A minimum of two years’ experience teaching within Key Stage One.

A deep understanding of the English National Curriculum and best practices in primary education.

A commitment to Quality First Teaching with proven impact on pupil progress.

Strong classroom management skills and the ability to foster a positive learning climate.

Fluent English (spoken and written) with excellent technical and communication skills.

A collaborative, team-oriented approach and commitment to continuous professional development.

A passion for working with young children and supporting their academic and personal development.

Willingness to contribute to school life beyond the classroom.
