ROLE SUMMARY:

King’s College Alicante is seeking an inspiring and committed Teacher of Economics and Business to teach A Level and/or IBDP. This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the leading British schools in Spain, known for its outstanding academic results, strong pastoral ethos, and vibrant school community.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Deliver high-quality Economics and Business lessons at A Level and/or IBDP
Plan and teach engaging lessons that support mixed-ability and EAL learners
Contribute to curriculum development and assessment at KS4 and KS5
Track pupil progress and support strong academic outcomes
Work collaboratively within the department and wider school community
Contribute to enrichment activities and the wider life of the school

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

Degree in Economics, Business or a related subject, with QTS (or equivalent)
Experience teaching Economics at A Level and/or IBDP (ECTs welcome)
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for high-quality teaching and learning
Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
Commitment to pastoral care, professional development and collaborative working
