ROLE SUMMARY:

 

King’s College, Soto de Viñuelas, a leading British international school in Madrid, is seeking to appoint a highly organised and service-oriented Admissions Assistant to join our dynamic administration team on a full time basis, starting ASAP. This role will be temporary initially, with the option to continue.

This is a key position supporting families throughout the admissions process, from initial enquiry to enrolment. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Admissions and other departments, including Academic, Finance and Reception, to ensure a smooth and professional experience for prospective families.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Respond to telephone and written enquiries from current and prospective parents.

  • Provide accurate information on admissions, entry requirements, school curriculum, and availability of places.

  • Organise and manage admission appointments and school tours.

  • Coordinate entrance exams locally and internationally, including communication with Heads of Department.

  • Support with internal transfers, including coordination with King’s Infant School.

  • Prepare regular admissions reports and updates for the Headteacher.

  • Liaise with the Accounts department regarding fee payment confirmations.

  • Maintain and archive student records accurately and securely.

  • Attend and prepare for weekly admissions meetings.

  • Support with direct and reverse translations as required.

  • Assist in Reception when needed

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

 

  • A university degree.

  • Full fluency in English and Spanish (spoken and written).

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • A warm, professional, and customer-focused approach.

  • Strong IT skills and experience with school systems or databases (e.g., ClaSS).

  • Knowledge of the British education system or international schooling environment.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

  • High level of organisation and attention to detail.
