ROLE SUMMARY:
Cambridge College Lima is a private Peruvian-British school in Lima, Chorrillos preparing students aged 2 to 18 for lifelong success. We are seeking an experienced and passionate Secondary Humanities Teacher to deliver high-quality instruction. The successful candidate will foster strong understanding of the Cambridge and IB curricula, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills in students, while contributing positively to the academic life of the school.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum qualification of Graduate Certificate
- Experience teaching Humanities subjects at the High/Secondary School level
- Familiarity with the UK-IGCSE curriculum
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans and assessments
- Minimum qualification of Graduate Certificate in Education or relevant field
- At least 4 years of teaching experience in a similar role
- Familiarity with the IGCSE/IBDP curricula preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to create dynamic and engaging lessons

- Experience of the English National Curriculum, (I)GCSE and IBDP syllabuses is desirable.

- The flexibility to work in groups across curriculum subjects and across key stages.
- A team player who will help develop new initiatives to enhance the Humanities curricula.
- Knowledge and experience in the use of digital technologies to enhance pupils’ learning.
