We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Junior School Teacher to join our dynamic and international teaching team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering a high-quality learning experience for students in the Junior School, fostering academic growth, essential skills, and a positive attitude towards learning.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Junior School curriculum and the school’s academic standards.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes curiosity, independence, and a love of learning.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the varied learning needs, abilities, and interests of students, ensuring all learners are supported and challenged appropriately.
  • Use formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and inform planning.
  • Integrate technology and innovative teaching strategies to enhance learning experiences and foster digital literacy.
  • Promote students’ social, emotional, and personal development through strong pastoral care and a nurturing approach.
  • Maintain open, effective communication with parents regarding student progress, behaviour, and wellbeing.
  • Collaborate with grade-level colleagues, coordinators, and academic leaders to ensure curriculum coherence and best teaching practices across the school.
  • Participate actively in professional development, training sessions, collaborative planning meetings, and whole-school initiatives.
  • Support school events, extracurricular activities, and community-building programmes as part of the wider contribution to school life.
  • Uphold Inspired Education’s safeguarding, child protection, and health & safety standards at all times.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • A degree in Education or a related field; a recognised teaching qualification is essential.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience teaching in a primary or junior school setting, ideally within an international or bilingual environment.
  • Strong understanding of international curricula and inquiry-based learning approaches.
  • Proven ability to design and deliver high-quality, student-centred lessons that promote engagement, critical thinking, and holistic development.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to build supportive, respectful relationships with young learners.
  • High level of English proficiency (advanced or native-level).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and maintain strong school–home partnerships.
  • Commitment to promoting student wellbeing, safeguarding, and a positive school culture.
  • Enthusiasm for ongoing professional learning and openness to innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Experience in international schools or multicultural environments is a strong advantage.
