We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Secondary Science Teacher to join our dynamic and international teaching team. The successful candidate will contribute to delivering a robust Science curriculum, inspire a love of scientific inquiry, and support students’ academic and personal growth.

This role requires strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom practice, and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across the department and school.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Teach Science at Secondary level, ensuring high-quality, engaging, and differentiated instruction.
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons aligned with curriculum requirements and the school’s academic standards.
  • Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment that encourages curiosity and active learning.
  • Use technology effectively to enhance teaching and learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop departmental projects, improve curriculum delivery, and maintain academic consistency.
  • Contribute to school life through participation in events, extracurricular activities, and pastoral care responsibilities.
  • Maintain strong communication with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Participate in professional development and stay updated with best practices in science education.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • Degree in a relevant Science field and a recognised teaching qualification.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience teaching Science at Secondary level.
  • Experience with international curricula (IGCSE, IB, or similar) is desirable.
  • Demonstrated track record of strong classroom management and effective pedagogical practice.
  • Ability to use data to inform planning and improve student outcomes.
  • Strong teamwork skills and willingness to support department initiatives.
  • Passion for working with adolescents and commitment to holistic education.
  • High level of English proficiency.
