ROLE SUMMARY:

Cambridge College Lima is a private Peruvian-British school in Lima, Chorrillos preparing students aged 2 to 18 for lifelong success. We blend the best of national curriculum standards with leading international programmes and a values-driven approach, culminating in the globally recognised IB Diploma Programme. We are seeking an experienced and passionate Math Teacher to deliver high-quality instruction aligned with the Cambridge International curriculum. The successful candidate will foster strong mathematical understanding, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills in students, while contributing positively to the academic life of the school.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons aligned with the Cambridge International curriculum.

  2. Prepare lesson plans, schemes of work, and instructional materials.

  3. Assess, monitor, and report on student progress using formative and summative assessment methods.

  4. Prepare students for Cambridge Checkpoint, IGCSE, and/or A-Level examinations (as applicable).

  5. Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs and abilities.

  6. Maintain accurate academic records and documentation.

  7. Establish and maintain a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment.

  8. Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and development.

  9. Participate in departmental meetings, school events, and professional development activities.

  10. Contribute to curriculum development and continuous school improvement initiatives.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • Strong knowledge of the Cambridge International Mathematics curriculum.

  • Effective lesson planning and curriculum design.

  • Data-driven assessment and progress tracking.
