We are currently seeking for a Secondary Humanities Teacher to join our dedicated team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons aligned with the Cambridge International curriculum.
- Foster intellectual curiosity and critical thinking through active learning methodologies.
- Monitor, assess, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure curriculum continuity and academic excellence.
- Contribute to the wider school community through enrichment programs, assemblies, or clubs.
- Participate in departmental planning, moderation, and professional development activities.
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- A degree in Education or a relevant Humanities field (History, Geography, Political Science, or similar).
- A recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent).
- Proven experience teaching Cambridge IGCSE and/or A-Level Humanities subjects.
- A passion for inspiring young people and delivering dynamic, inquiry-based lessons.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset.
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
- Fluent English proficiency.
- International school or multicultural experience is an advantage.
