We are seeking an enthusiastic, dynamic, and committed PE Teacher to join our dedicated teaching team. The successful candidate will deliver an engaging and developmentally appropriate PE curriculum that promotes physical literacy, teamwork, healthy lifestyles, and a lifelong love of sport and movement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality PE lessons aligned curriculum and the school’s educational standards.
  • Foster physical literacy, motor skill development, fitness, and healthy lifestyle habits in young learners.
  • Create safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environments in both indoor and outdoor settings.
  • Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and positive social interactions through structured games and activities.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse physical abilities and developmental needs of students.
  • Organise, supervise, and participate in school sporting events, competitions, and extracurricular activities.
  • Ensure the safe use, setup, and maintenance of sports equipment and facilities.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, coordinators, and other staff to support student wellbeing and whole-child development.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and model appropriate attitudes related to health, fitness, and personal responsibility.
  • Contribute to wider school initiatives, assemblies, and events as a member of the team.
  • Uphold Inspired Education’s safeguarding, health & safety, and child protection policies at all times.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • A degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field; a recognised teaching qualification is essential.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience teaching PE to primary or junior school students, ideally in an international or bilingual environment.
  • Strong knowledge of child development, motor skills acquisition, and age-appropriate physical education methodologies.
  • Ability to design engaging, safe, and inclusive lessons suitable for various ability levels.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and support young learners.
  • Experience coaching sports teams or leading athletic activities is an advantage.
  • Passion for promoting health, fitness, teamwork, and positive values through sport.
  • Collaborative mindset and willingness to contribute to school life beyond the classroom.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous improvement in PE teaching practices.
