We are currently seeking for a Junior School Teacher Assistant to join our dedicated team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the classroom teacher in delivering engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences that align with the school’s curriculum and pedagogical approach.
- Assist in preparing learning materials, setting up classroom activities, and maintaining an organized, positive, and safe environment for students.
- Work with small groups or individual students to reinforce learning objectives, provide additional support, and promote confidence and independence.
- Support classroom management by helping guide student behavior with a calm, consistent, and respectful approach.
- Assist with observation of student progress and contribute to maintaining accurate records as required.
- Help supervise students during transitions, recess, lunch, trips, and other school activities to ensure their safety and wellbeing.
- Collaborate positively with teachers, colleagues, and parents to support a strong home-school partnership.
- Assist with administrative tasks (e.g., photocopying, organizing resources, preparing classroom displays).
- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities as required.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- Experience working with children in an educational setting, preferably within international or bilingual schools.
- Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
- A proactive, flexible, and collaborative attitude, with a genuine interest in supporting young learners.
- Good organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail.
- Clear communication skills in both English and Spanish (intermediate to advanced English preferred).
- A commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
- A caring, positive, and student-centered mindset.
