English and World History Teacher

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

We are looking for a passionate and innovative teacher to join our English department in an exciting new phase of the school´s development starting in February 2025. The candidate should be confident and have the ability to teach English across all senior levels. 

The successful candidate should have:

• Minimum of three years’ teaching experience
• Hold a teaching degree in English or related subject
• Demonstrate at least a CAE English level
• (Desirable) Have experience in teaching the IB Middle Years and/or the Diploma Programme
• Demonstrate expert classroom practice that promotes inquiry-based learning
• Possess excellent communication skills, spoken and written
• Possess excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
• Possess excellent organizational skills
• Be teamwork oriented, flexible and open-minded
• Demonstrate a growth mind-set and positive drive
• Knowledge and experience in the use of digital technologies to enhance pupils’ learning.
