ROLE SUMMARY:

Altair School is strategically located in La Molina, Lima, Peru, and its campus has an area of 15,000 square meters. It is a regular, bilingual and mixed education school. It has the IB Continuing Program accredited for its three programs: PYP (Primary Years Program), MYP (Middle Years Program) and Diploma.

The team of teachers at Altair School is highly qualified to provide an educational service of excellence. The Teacher Assistant must be able to work as a team with the teachers of the level, showing good social skills. You must have a passion for teaching and a commitment to the comprehensive education of your students. In addition, use technological tools and an advanced level of English.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Asistir al docente en la preparación de materiales y actividades para apoyar el aprendizaje de los estudiantes.
Brindar apoyo individual o grupal a los alumnos que lo necesiten, asegurando su bienestar y participación en clase.
Ayudar a mantener un ambiente seguro y ordenado en el aula y en espacios comunes como el recreo y el comedor.
Supervisar a los estudiantes en diferentes áreas del colegio, especialmente en la entrada, salida y recreos.
Fomentar hábitos de orden, higiene y buena convivencia.
Realizar otras tareas asignadas por los docentes y/o la coordinación de nivel.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

Preferentemente estudios en educación o carreras afines (título técnico o en proceso de formación).
Deseable experiencia previa trabajando con niños.
Que sea paciente, empática, que sepa trabajar en equipo y que tenga habilidades de comunicación.
Que tenga una actitud proactiva y con vocación de servicio, y que sea responsable.
