ROLE SUMMARY:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

To determine areas of extracurricular demand and develop plans to meet these needs.
To recruit coaches and service providers to meet the school´s demands for extracurricular activities.
To vet prospective actitivy leaders thoroughly, conduct background checks, and ensure their suitability to work with children.
To provide an induction program for all new employees, ensuring that they can meet the school´s expectations aroung child safeguarding and protection and attendance and that they conduct their activities in accordance with the school´s pedagogy and communication guidelines.
Liaise with the athletics department and academic leaders to ensure that facilities and resources are used in accordance with the school´s priorities.
Liaise with the Human Resources and Finance Departments to ensure that the activities are carried out efficiently and effectively.
Promote the Cambridge College Academies on appropiate platforms, assemblies and parent sessiones.
Conduct a review of each activity upon completion to provide feedback to the provider and enhance the program delivery.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

The ability to recruit, evaluate and retain talented, caring coaches.
Storng interpersonal skills in working with students, parents and coaches.
Organisational skills such as timetabling and budgeting.
The ability to promote and celebrate the Athletics Program.
