ROLE SUMMARY:
King’s School The Crown is built in extensive grounds offering world-class educational and sporting facilities, enabling students to pursue a diverse range of interests. Our purpose-Built Campus of over 40,000m2 located in the heart of Cairo's most prestigious gated community, The Crown, 6th October city. The school caters to students from 18 months up to 18 years with state-of-the-art facilities, including: a full football field, 400m athletic track , 25m 8 lane covered swimming pool with learner pool, indoor multi-purpose sports hall, outdoor multipurpose courts and a 522 seat Performing Arts theatre.
We have an exciting opportunity for a SEND Teacher to join King’s School The Crown. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities, ensuring they can fully access the curriculum and thrive academically and socially.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Deliver high-quality, differentiated teaching and targeted interventions for students with SEND

Assess learning needs and develop, implement, and review Individual Education or Learning Support Plans

Work closely with classroom teachers to support inclusive practice and effective differentiation

Monitor, track, and report on student progress to parents and school leaders

Liaise with parents and external professionals to ensure coordinated support

Contribute positively to the inclusive ethos and wider life of the school
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
-
Qualified Teacher Status (UK or equivalent), with SEND training or experience

At least 3 years’ teaching experience, ideally including SEND provision
-
Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum and inclusive teaching strategies

Excellent communication and organisational skills
-
High expectations for all learners and a genuine commitment to inclusion
