ROLE SUMMARY:

ACG Strathallan is a co-educational, non-denominational, independent school based in Karaka, South Auckland. We cater for students in Years 0-13, delivering the Cambridge Curriculum. We require an experienced secondary hard materials/design tech teacher who is able to deliver motivational and differentiated lessons that cater for student’s individual needs. The successful applicant will be very well organised, enjoy working as a part of a supportive team, and be willing to contribute to the corporate life of our school.  Ideally the applicant will have an understanding of Cambridge International Qualifications. 

We require a teacher who is able to deliver motivational and differentiated lessons that cater for student’s individual needs. The successful applicant will have strength in teaching in the classroom and in the workshop, be very well organised, enjoy working as a part of a supportive team, and be willing to contribute to the wider life of our school. Experience with delivering the Cambridge Curriculum would be an advantage but not essential. The position will commence in Term 1, 2025. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • NZ Teacher registration with supporting teaching qualifications (BA and/or MBA).
  • Experience in teaching in a secondary school curriculum to a high standard.
  • Well-prepared, inspiring confidence in students and parents.
  • Flexible, committed, professional, hard working, team player.
