THE ROLE:

 

Kensington School is seeking to appoint a native English speaking Key Stage 1 teacher, to join us on a permanent, full-time basis. 

 

Start date: As soon as the selected candidate is available to join, with the latest start date being 2nd January 2025.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Teaching a full-time timetable.
  • Planning and delivering a range of classes in the Key Stage 1 age group.
  • Responsibility for the care and welfare of children in your class.
  • Commitment and interest in group planning.
  • Tutorial responsibilities.
  • Willingness to take part in educational trips and visits

IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

 

  • University degree in appropriate subject
  • U.K. qualified Teacher Status or equivalent
  • The right to work in Spain immediately
  • Able to set clear expectations and stretching goals
  • Adaptable teaching style incorporating feedback
  • A depth of understanding in the relevant subject area
  • Ability to judge learning effectiveness
  • Excellent preparation and planning
  • Assessment of student outcomes and feedback to enhance performance
