Kensington School was founded in 1968. We were and are a pioneering centre for British education in Spain. THE ROLE:
Kensington School is seeking to appoint a native English speaking Key Stage 1 teacher, to join us on a permanent, full-time basis.
Start date: As soon as the selected candidate is available to join, with the latest start date being 2nd January 2025.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Teaching a full-time timetable.
- Planning and delivering a range of classes in the Key Stage 1 age group.
- Responsibility for the care and welfare of children in your class.
- Commitment and interest in group planning.
- Tutorial responsibilities.
- Willingness to take part in educational trips and visits
IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
- University degree in appropriate subject
- U.K. qualified Teacher Status or equivalent
- The right to work in Spain immediately
- Able to set clear expectations and stretching goals
- Adaptable teaching style incorporating feedback
- A depth of understanding in the relevant subject area
- Ability to judge learning effectiveness
- Excellent preparation and planning
- Assessment of student outcomes and feedback to enhance performance
